About Senior Bath Quote
We convert bathrooms so they can be used without climbing over anything. We are not tied to a manufacturer, and we do not sell in living rooms at pace, which is most of what distinguishes us in this category.
What we do
We convert bathtubs to curbless showers, install walk-in tubs where they suit the room, and fit grab bars and safety fittings. One written quote covers the survey, the demolition, the plumbing, the waterproofing, the tiling and the fittings.
We are not a dealer for any manufacturer and we take no commission on a product line. That is what makes it possible to tell someone the fixture they came in asking for is the wrong one for their bathroom, which happens often.
Why it exists
Search for a walk-in tub and you will find manufacturer pages, dealer pages and lead-generation pages that are dealer pages wearing a different name. All of them recommend a walk-in tub, because that is what they sell.
What is difficult to find is the sentence that opens this site: for most households, an accessible shower is the better answer, and for a good number of households a few hundred dollars of bars, seating and lighting would do more than either.
Saying that costs conversions. It is also the only reason for this site to exist.
What this site refuses to do
- No medical, therapeutic or fall-prevention claims about any product.
- No fear. Nothing here describes what might happen to somebody who does not buy, that is a sales technique, not information.
- No prices, because a published figure becomes an anchor a salesperson can beat in a living room.
- No statements about insurance coverage, assistance programmes or tax treatment.
- No medical questions in the form, and no health information collected at any point.
- No depiction of people in any illustration: rooms and clearances are drawn, the person using them is not caricatured.
How it is paid, and what that means
Contractors pay to receive project descriptions. Visitors pay nothing, and any price quoted is a matter between them and the company quoting it.
The conflict is obvious and worth stating: we are paid when somebody submits a project, and several pages here exist to tell people they may not need one. That tension is the design, not an oversight.
Reporting an error
If something here is wrong, a description of a product, an account of what an installation involves, a characterization of how this business works, we would rather be told than left repeating it. Pages carry a review date.
